On the 23th and 27th of September 2022 the Italian Multiplier Event of the project was held by CEIPES at the Si.Da office, in Palermo.
During the event, called “Alzheimer and 3D technologies”, CEIPES introduced the project, its aims, and objectives, as well as results achieved, and talked about the piloting phase held at “Casa di Riposo Sacchini” in Alcamo (TP); In fact, CEIPES’ staff invited the associated partner involved. The two directors of the Si.Da centre Daniela Leto and Simona Valenti have spoken about the multifunctional center and their experience, and the president of “A Casa di Nina” organization, Fabio Conigliaro, spoke about education for disabled adults with Alzheimer’s disease and disabled individuals with psychological distress. CEIPES has then introduced and presented the 17 exercises designed and created during the project period.
The audience responded positively: all participants showed great interest in the innovative perspective adopted by the project. The audience increased their awareness of 3D printing as support for Alzheimer patients and became interested in the activities implemented during the project.
