BETI

BETI was founded in 2003 by an active team of professionals who have been working in the field of ICT and education technologies for more than 15 years. While implementing different activities in higher education and vocational training sectors the rich experience, knowledge and skills were accumulated in the field of ICT enhanced training, distance education methodology, learning technologies, multimedia production, development of web applications, etc.
The main objectives of the institute are:
1. To apply scientific, methodological and practical activities to encourage ICT based training and learning in order to balance smooth education, social and economic development
2. To seek for development of democratic, wide-accessed and self-dependant training conditions for all citizens while implementing life long learning paradigm, developing distance learning initiatives, and creating information systems for training, guidance and counseling
3. To support IT based project and process management, in cooperation with organizations and individuals seeking to ensure effectiveness and quality of implemented activities and provided services

CETEM

CETEM – The Technical Research and Training Centre of Furniture and Wood of the Region of Murcia (CETEM) is a private non-profit association based in Yecla, where one of the most important furniture clusters in Spain is concentred. CETEM’s main objective is to carry out and promote research and development activities, as well as services and projects in the technological and innovative field with the aim of improving, favouring and encouraging the development and continuous improvement of companies and society. Most of the initiatives that CETEM starts, besides having an industrial interest, born for solving a social need, either environmental, safety, facing unemployment and the improvement of life quality of people at risk of exclusion. CETEM is formed by 41 professionals with different backgrounds: engineering, technology transfer, business administration, chemistry, psychology, teaching, design, etc, all working in different areas of expertise. CETEM is a pioneer in Spain using 3D printing and Rapid Prototyping in the furniture sectors with more than 20 years of experience in this field. Through the technology infrastructure in Additive Manufacturing of different areas of the institution (Robotics and Product Engineering), CETEM provides companies with cutting-edge technology support in an industrial-friendly way and assist them in performing research and innovation activities in some advance manufacturing areas, such as 3D printing, robotics and IT based manufacturing.

CEIPES 

CEIPES – International Centre for the Promotion of Education and Development is a non-profit organisation founded in 2007 and based in Palermo, Italy. It leads a Network of more than 8 European and extra European associations focused on Education, Training and Social Development. CEIPES has expertise on Education, Transfer of innovation and Project management in different European programmes tackling the Education and the capacity building of different target groups, from young people to adults, from women to unemployed, migrants and disadvantaged groups. It also promotes lifelong learning, vocational training and entrepreneurship with the aim of enhancing opportunities for youth and adults to improve and acquire competences and therefore boost their employability and inclusion. CEIPES has several links with public and private local and international stakeholders that can contribute to the achievement of project results in terms of dissemination, exploitation and sustainability of them. CEIPES can count on experienced staff composed of professionals with different competences and fields such as psychology, communication, training, international cooperation, social and cultural mediation, social assistance, ICT, digital manufacturing and law.

Alzheimer Bulgaria is an association of people with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementias, their caregivers, social and health professionals. It was registered in December 2003. We are members of Alzheimer Europe, Eurocares, the Global Dementia Friends campaign. We have two officially registered branches of the organization in Bulgaria – in Gotse Delchev and in Pleven. We also work with many volunteers who share their personal time and experience to support the organization in Varna, Lovech, Plovdiv, Lukovit, Topolovgrad. In 2012 our activities were denoted as an example of “Good Practice” by the European Parliament for a project funded by Active Ageing Citizens – Best Practices for the Amendment on reimbursement of medicines by the Ministry of Health.
Our main goals are:
• improving the quality of life of people with dementia and their families;
• changing the public perception of people with dementia;
• information on and awareness of families and authorities;
• advocacy for social and health policies specifically targeting people with dementia and their families.
Alzheimer Bulgaria works with 35 volunteers, mostly young professionals, who help the organization in disseminating information especially on social media.
